ICHENDORF DESIGN
Ichendorf was born in the early twentieth century, in Germany, in a village near Cologne, called Quadrath-Ichendorf. Initially, glass is the absolute protagonist of traditional products. When in 1990 the Ichendorf style centre was established in Milan, the creative hub of artists and designers, other materials such as crystal and borosilicate were also used, until stoneware, introduced in 2019. Artisans and designers work together to create refined objects, distinguished by the essentiality of the form and the purity of the material, in a constant exchange of tradition and innovation, always aimed at the search for beauty in its purest forms.
